Ueli Dubs, a former policeman, establishes Dumet AG.

“In 1975, a Greek who filled olives in stand-up pouches and sold them in Switzerland wanted to sell his business to me. Yet, at the last moment, he changed his mind - and I was left with nothing.” But it was immediately clear to Ueli Dubs: “What he can do, I can do, too!” The first barrel was quickly bought, and the first production room was quickly set up in the parental farmhouse. The journey through Switzerland started with the first pouches (filled by hand). The breakthrough came with the first Migros cooperative. From then on, Dumet AG grew continually.

1975	Foundation of Dumet AG by Ueli Dubs
1998	Relocation to Cham (factory size expanded to > 5,000 m³)
2004	New construction and move into the first factory to meet Minergie standards in Central Switzerland (factory size expanded to > 25,000 m³)
2008	Start of export strategy: delivery of products to the SPAR retail chain in Austria
2013	Robert Marty and Josef Arnold become co-owners of Dumet AG and ensure the future development of Dumet AG
2016	Export to Austria, Germany and Canada
